Students are beginning to be completely immersed in a digital world. Their education need to be part of that and if they are to be truly engaged while learning, they must have access to "higher" technology where they can connect with others. There cannot be a barrier between our children and technology if they are to be "connected" in the world today. They cannot come into a classroom and "disconnect" from what is their "real world" in order to try to learn. It cannot be aunthentic.
